Welcome to PeelitNow (“PeelitNow,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PeelitNow website (peelitnow.com), browser extensions, iOS shortcuts, Android share features, APIs, and related web summarization services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the Service to submit URLs or view summaries, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Web Summarization and URL Processing
PeelitNow provides automated tools that retrieve publicly accessible webpage text and produce condensed key takeaways and executive briefs using artificial intelligence and natural language processing.
URL Processing Principles
- Users must submit only publicly accessible web URLs or documents they are authorized to access and review.
- PeelitNow processes target HTML solely to extract readable body content, strip boilerplate formatting, and produce user-requested summaries.
- The Service does not bypass technological protection measures designed to restrict access to unauthorized users.
- Generated summaries are informational convenience aids and do not replace the full original context of third-party publishers.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to access or use PeelitNow. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
4. User Accounts and Authentication
You may use PeelitNow anonymously or register an account via Google Single Sign-On / AWS Cognito to save summary bookmarks and sync history. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and any activity occurring under your account.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use PeelitNow in full compliance with applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree NOT to:
- Submit URLs pointing to illegal, defamatory, abusive, harassing, or malware-distributing content;
- Submit local network addresses (e.g. localhost, 127.0.0.1, RFC 1918 private IPs, or cloud metadata endpoints);
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass rate limits, token quotas, or security guardrails;
- Launch automated bots, stress tests, or scraper swarms against our API endpoints without express written permission;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or compromise the infrastructure of PeelitNow; or
- Attempt to fraudulently manipulate ad impressions or click indicators.
6. Third-Party Webpages and Intellectual Property
PeelitNow processes third-party webpages at the specific direction and request of the user. We do not claim ownership of, endorse, or assume liability for third-party websites, articles, news posts, or research documents summarized through our service.
Original articles remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers and copyright holders. PeelitNow provides attribution links to original source URLs with every summary.
7. AI Output Disclaimer
Summaries are generated via automated machine learning models. While designed for high fidelity, AI models may occasionally misinterpret nuances, omit secondary facts, or generate inaccuracies.
PeelitNow summaries are provided “as is” for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, financial, or investment advice.
8. Advertising and Monetization
Free-tier users may receive contextual advertisements and sponsored recommendations powered by Google AdSense and authorized ad partners. Advertising enables PeelitNow to provide free access without subscriptions.
9. Service Availability & Modifications
We strive for maximum uptime and response speed. However, we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, rate-limit, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEELITNOW AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INACCURACIES IN SUMMARIES, OR TEMPORARY SERVICE OUTAGES.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
