You should avoid submitting URLs containing confidential personal credentials or private authentication tokens in the query string.

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect standard technical metrics associated with use of the Service, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location (country/region level);
  • Browser type, device classification, and operating system;
  • HTTP User-Agent strings and referrer headers;
  • Request timestamps, processing latency, and response status codes; and

PeelitNow utilizes artificial intelligence models to synthesize web content. Content extracted from submitted URLs is processed securely through industry-leading AI infrastructure.

Our cloud hosting is powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), utilizing CloudFront, Amplify, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Cognito.

AI-generated summaries are automated convenience tools; we encourage users to consult source articles for definitive verification.

7. Data Retention & Caching Policies

Cached summaries in Amazon DynamoDB are governed by automated Time-To-Live (TTL) expiration schedules. Operational logs and security telemetry are retained only as long as necessary for fraud prevention, reliability auditing, and legal compliance.

Registered users can delete their saved peels and account data at any time through their account settings.

8. Data Security Safeguards

We implement comprehensive technical and organizational security controls, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, strict Content Security Policies (CSP), HSTS enforcement, restricted IAM role permissions, and token validation.

9. Your Rights & Choices (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
